About Us
Maarschalk & Partners started when the late Land-Surveyor Lomo Maarschalk moved his practice to Humansdorp in the mid 1950′s. Through the years this practice has served the Kouga & Koukamma areas through dedicated hard work and professionalism.
ST Maarschalk joined the practice in 1983 and took the firm into the 21st century by modernising the way of working by introducing computers, software, Global Positioning Systems and other modern equipment to ensure that the practice is always current and can meet the modern client’s needs.
Deon Lategan and Jan Bester joined the firm in the late 1990′s to complete the picture. Since 1953 this practice was instrumental in the development of this area, with developments done in Jeffreys Bay, St Francis Bay, Cape St Francis, Oyster Bay and Humansdorp. Also the Tsitsikamma up to Coldstream, the Langkloof and Kouga through Kareedouw & Joubertina up to Avontuur, the Gamtoos River Valley through Hankey & Patensie and well into the Baviaanskloof and Loerie, Thornhill & East to Port Elizabeth have all been influenced by surveys from this practice.
Our recent involvement in major projects such as the St Francis Links development and Crossways near Thornhill, further prove that Maarschalk & Partners Inc. is the preferred Survey team for the Kouga and Koukamma regions.
